Darchula, April 18: The under-construction upper Naugad second hydro power project has come to the final stage of its production.
The hydro power having the capacity of 8-MW has stepped up its preparation to produce electricity in coming one-and-a-half months. The flood that occurred last year caused almost two months delay in the production function of the hydro power.
Madhusudan Koirala, in-charge of the hydro power project, said the task of Upper Naugad hydro power second being constructed by Api Power Company Limited is entering into the final stage.
First testing one would take place within this month (mid-May), Koirala shared, adding it would require two months to fully operate both.
