Aspirations of the indigenous people addressed in the constitution: Prachanda

Kathmandu, April 23: The ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that the aspirations of the indigenous people have been addressed in the Constitution.

In an interaction on the issues concerning indigenous people and marginalized community organizes in the capital today, NCP Chairperson also said that the federal structure will take development to the local levels through the decentralized mechanism.

He further stressed on increasing participation of these communities. Meanwhile, Chairperson Prachanda opined for institutionalizing the achievement of change as they were achieved through great struggle by the people in various movements.

He said that various conspiracies are being hatched to make the changes a failure but it will be impossible.
