Dadeldhura bus accident: dead identified

Dadeldhura, April 24: Identities of five people killed in the Dadeldhura bus accident this morning have been ascertained.

As per the police report the deceased are Naresh Gurdhami; Kalashi Devi Gurdhami; and Haruli Bohara of Kedarsyu rural municipality, Bajhang;  Dhan Bahadur Gharti of Talkot-4,  Bajhang and Mohammed Nasir from Bihar, India.

A total of 34 passengers have been injured in the accident and among them, 31 are being treated at the Dadeldhura-based Sub Regional Hospital while seriously  injured Dhan Bahadur Chauhan of Thalara-3, Bajhang; Binod Thapa of Masta-1, Bajhang ; and Ramesh Chaudhary of Godawari municipality-10, Kailali have been referred to Kailali  for further treatment.
