Agreement with NRNA to open modern agriculture bazaar

Kathmandu, April 25: An agreement has been reached between State 3 government and the Non-Resident Nepali Association to open well-equipped modern agriculture bazaar in various places across the country.

As per the agreement, an modern agriculture bazaar along with the main processing centre will be established in Kathmandu, while its branches will be opened in Hetauda, Chitwan, Sindhuli, Dhading, Nuwakot, Ramechhap and Kavre. Likewise, centres to collect agricultural products will be established in convenient places where agricultural products are produced.

Chief of the agriculture conservation committee under the NRNA, Yubraj Gurung, informed that the project worth approximately Rs 2 billion aims to collect agricultural products from farmers by paying a decent price, processing them and managing their market.  (RSS)
