FSF and Naya Shakti unified

Kathmandu, May 6: The Federal Socialist Forum Nepal and Naya Shakti Party Nepal have unified amid a programme in the capital today.  After the unification, the new party is named Socialist Party Nepal.

The chair duo Upendra Yadav and Dr Baburam Bhattarai read out a letter announcing that the both parties have agreed to be unified as a single party.  Leaders Yadav and Bhattarai will be the member of the presidium. Similarly, there will be 26 office-bearers in the new party.   Leader Yadav will lead the central committee while Dr Bhattari will chair the Federal Council in the new party.

On the occasion, the leaders argued that they agreed to form a new party to lead the socialist movement in the country.   The party will further work to end all kinds of discrimination prevailing in the country.
