Phnom Penh, May 14: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is currently on an official visit to Cambodia, has held a meeting with acting Head of the State Sambdech Say Chhunm at the Senate house in Phnom Penh today.
According to Non-residential Nepali Ambassador of Nepal to Cambodia Khagnath Adhikari, issues relating to bilateral and parliamentary affairs and cultural exchange of both countries were discussed in the meeting.
Cambodia’s Foreign Affairs Ministry officials said the visit is expected to strengthen the bonds of friendship with Cambodia and promote economic, trade, tourism and cultural cooperation, and exchange the parliamentary experiences between the two countries.
Earlier, PM Oli held a meeting with President of National Assembly of Cambodia, Heng Samrin, at the parliament building today.
Ambassador Adhikari informed that the two leaders held discussions on contemporary political, bilateral and parliamentary affairs of both the countries and they agreed to strengthen and exchange experiences.
