30 Megawatt of electricity of Trishuli 3A hydro-power project brought to national grid

Nuwakot, May 16: 30 Megawatt of electricity of Trishuli 3A hydro-power project has come to national grid from today.

Nepal Electricity Authority Executive Director Kulman Ghishing inaugurated the electricity production from the powerhouse located at Kispang of Nuwakot today. The electricity from the project has been brought to national grid via 220 double circuit transmission line from Kispang to Matatirtha of Kathmandu.

Nepal Electricity Authority Executive Director Ghisng said with the operation of the project the water in Kulekhani will be saved and electricity purchase from Indian will diminish.

After running it in full capacity, the project will produce 60 MW electricity.
