Human Rights Committee’s Chiar stresses on having discussions with stakeholders regarding Human Right Commission Bill

Kathmandu, May 24: Chair of the Law, Justice and Human Right Committee under the house of representatives Krishna Bhakta Pokharel has said that there is need of having discussions with the all stakeholders regarding the Human Right Commission Bill registered in the parliament.

Talking to media person at his office in Sighdurbar today, Chair Pokharel said that the bill should be mover forward as per the constitutional provisions including everyone’s sentiment and catching up the international treaties that the country has singed.

He also said that the media council bill registered in the parliament also need extensive discussions with the stakeholders to guarantee full press freedom in the country.
