Kathmandu, May 28: An international conference on Himalayan tourism cooperation is taking place for the first time on May 29.
The conference will be organised by the International Himalayan Tourism Cooperation in collaboration with the Nepal Tourism Board and Nepal Association of Tours &Travel Agents (NATTA). NATTA President CN Pandey informed that more than 150 representatives from various organisations working in mountain sector of various 10 countries will participate in the conference.
He added that the venue for the conference is fixed at Hotel Yak & Yeti. NATTA President expressed his belief that the conference will help make ‘Visit Nepal Year, 2020’ a success.
He further informed more than 120 pictures of mountains will be put on display, and various tourism organisations are scheduled to present working papers on mountains.
