Westerly wind likely to bring brief rain in the country

May 29, Kathmandu : The Meteorological Forecasting Division has predicted partial to general cloudy sky at most of the places of the country due to influences of westerly wind today.

Meteorologist of the Division, Sujan Subedi said that the weather has been affected at western part due to influence of westerly wind while central and hilly areas due to influence of local wind.

According to the Division, the weather will be  generally cloudy in the eastern region, partly cloudy in the central region and fairly in the western hilly region.

Similarly, Brief rain/ thundershowers likely to occur at some places of the eastern and central regions and at a few places of the western hilly region.
