Muglin road to shutdown from tomorrow

May 29, Muglin  : The Muglin section under the Prithivi Highway will be closed for 14 days starting from tomorrow.

The road will be shut down  to allow a smooth construction of the arch bridge above the Trishuli river linking Chitwan and Tanahun districts. Construction of the bridge has reached the final stage, and the construction of roadside walls and blacktopping the road is underway, said the contractor.

The road shutdown schedule is from 11 am to 3 pm and from 9 pm to 2 am. Despite repeated extension of the deadline to complete the project, the construction is yet to be completed citing various reasons.
