Government fixes eight different sectors prioritizing and mobilizing development aids from international communities

Kathmandu, May 31: Government has fixed eight different sectors prioritizing and mobilizing development aids from international communities with an objective of making such aid transparent and productive.

The cabinet meeting held on 24 May had endorsed the Foreign Development Aid mobilization Policy 2076 and that policy had fixed the priorities of development aid mobilization.

The policy has stated that foreign aids will be mobilized in infrastructure development, Education, health, drinking water and sanitation, production and productivity enhancement, job creation and poverty alleviation as priority sectors.

The policy has also provision of rejecting the aids  if such they come with conditions embedded. The policy says the aids granted with the development partners with conditions will be rejected.
