Radio Nepal to inaugurate provincial broadcast services in State two from tomorrow

Bardibas, May 31: Radio Nepal is formally inaugurating its provincial broadcast services in State two from tomorrow.

Till date, Province two used to hook the central broadcast from the Bardibas substation. However, from tomorrow onwards the Bardibas substation will being the provincial broadcast services from its recently constructed studio formally.

Radio Nepal Executive Director Suresh Kumar Karki said that the provincial studio of Radio Nepal will be inaugurated tomorrow and then onwards, Bardibas station of Radio Nepal will regularly broadcast news in Maithali, Bhojpur, Magahi and Nepal languages along with various programmes of its own.

Executive Director Karki further added that although an FM station with a capacity of 1 thousand Mega Watt has been brought into operation in Province No 2, soon the station will be upgraded to 5 thousand Mega Watt.

Meanwhile, Deputy Executive Director Buddhi Bahadur KC said that Radio Nepal has been transforming itself in federal structure to comply with changes that has happened in the country.
