June 1, Bardibas: Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Gokul Prasad Baskota has said the new model of development would be started from Province 2.
Inaugurating Radio Nepal’s Province 2 regional broadcasting service at Bardibas of Mahottari district today, Minister Baskota said the federal government would pursue works so that the people would get to experience it by keeping State 2 in high priority.
Similarly, chief minister of Province 2, Lalbabu Raut said Radio Nepal’s regional broadcasting station was the common property of all the peoples of Province 2 and that the state government was committed to developing it in keeping with the times.
Likewise, Radio Nepal’s executive director Suresh Kumar Karki on the occasion said that they would broadcast news in Maithili, Bhojpuri, Magahi and Nepali languages as well as produce and air other programmes from the Bardibas broadcasting station on a daily basis.
The building is to be constructed at a cost of Rs 21.1 million. The construction would be completed in nine months, according to Radio Nepal sources.
