President Bidya Devi Bhandari emphasizes investment in education for sustainable development

June 5, Nepalgunj: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has asserted that it was imperative to raise on investment in education sector to achieve sustainable development in the country.

Addressing the 50th anniversary of the Prabhat Secondary School at Jigaun of Baijanath rural municipality in Banke district today, President Bhandari underscored qualitative increase in the education of community schools across the country.

Unveiling a monument designed and erected on the golden jubilee of the School, Bhandari drew the attention of teachers and parents alike towards the quality education, arguing that the investment in education would help provide children a quality education.

President Bhandari is scheduled to inaugurate a national workshop on climate change today in Nepalgunj at 2 pm
