Public Service Commission made vacancy announcement for local level as per constitutional provision: Minister Pundit

Kathmandu, June 11: Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration, Lal Babu Pundit has said the Public Service Commission made vacancy announcement for local level as per constitutional and legal provisions after having discussions with the government.

Speaking at a program in the capital today, Minister Pundit claimed that the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee made n controversial decision yesterday, saying the commission made the announcement as per the demand of the provinces.

Minister Pundit clarified that the Federal Public Service Commission had to make the vacancy announcement at a time when the Provincial Public Service Commission are yet to be formed,
