House begins discussion on appropriation bill

Kathmandu, June 11: The House of Representatives has begun minister-wise deliberation of the appropriation bill 2076 from today.

Today’s meeting discussed various topics under the ministries of Youth and Sports, Urban development, and finance.

Parliamentarians Durga Paudel Dibya Raj Bhandari Rangmani Shahi, Dr. Minendra Rijal and Prem Suwal have presented different proposals in the meeting to reduce the expenditures of those ministries.

They also claimed that the budget was not oriented to creating jobs and it failed to incorporate the granting of loans in nominal interest after depositing academic certificate.
