Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli returns home wrapping up his official visit to Europe today

June 16, Kathmandu:  Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has returned home today morning, after wrapping up his official visit to Europe.

Prime Minister Oli visited Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and France. Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara, Chair of National Assembly Ganesh Prasad Timilsina, Deputy Prime Minister Ishwor Pokharel, and other high-ranking officials welcomed Prime Minister at the VVIP lounge at the Tribhuvan International Airport.

 

Upon his arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, a contingent of Nepal Army offered a guard of honor to Prime Minister Oli. Addressing the press conference at the Tribhuvan International Airport, Prime Minister Oli summoned that the visit has added a new dimension towards improving bilateral relations.

Answering the questions related to Guthi bill, Prime Minister Oli assured that the government will make necessary corrections to the controversial Guthi Bill owing to widespread protests from locals and stakeholders.

The Prime Minister’s entourage included his spouse Radhika Shakya, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Pradeep Kumar Gyawali; Minister for Employment and Social Security, Gokarna Bista; chief political advisor to the Prime Minister, Bishnu  Rimal; foreign affairs advisor, Dr Rajan Bhattarai; press advisor Kundan Aryal and lawmakers Bimal Prasad Shreewastav and Binda Pandey. The delegation had left home for Geneva on June 8.
