PM Oli inaugurats newly constructed building of the Paropakar Maternity and Women’s Hospital

Kathmandu, July 12: Reconstruction of the quake damaged building of the Paropakar Maternity and Women’s Hospital at Thapathali in Kathmandu, has been completed.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli inaugurated the newly constructed building amidst a programme today. While inaugurating the building, the PM Oli said that initiatives of reconstructing the quake damaged infrastructure are gaining pace.

The Prime Minister further focused on enhancing its quality services to the service seekers.  PM Oli added that the sophisticated new building will further maintain its previous glory of providing quality service as it was disturbed in lack of advanced building.

Similarly, speaking in the same programme, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health and Population Upendra Yadav shared that the government is planning to establish the advanced hospital in each seven provinces in the country.

The National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) chief executive officer (CEO) Sushil Gyawali shared that 692 health institutions are being reconstructed as 1,928 were damaged by the earthquake.

The government of Japan and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) had provided the financial support for the reconstruction of the building. Newly constructed building was handed over to the Ministry of Health and Population today itself.
