July 25, Lamjung: Three people among the deceased in the Dordi Khola Flood in Lamjung have been identified.
Three out of four dead bodies found in the Dordi Kola flood on Wednesday afternoon have been identified. According to police inspector of the district police office Lamjung, Basanta Kumar Panta, the identified bodies are of Shivadhan Chaudhary of Parsa, Ramesh Budha of Dadeldhura and Bhuvaneshor Chaudhary of Saptari district.
One dead body is yet to be identified. Similarly, of the identified bodies two were found at Nauthar Sera of Dordi Municipality 4 and another at Kirtipur.
Seven people have been injured in the flood and they are undergoing treatment at Besisahar based District Community Hospital. Seven people are still missing and Nepal Army, Nepal Police, and armed police along with locals have intensified the search of the disappeared.
According to police, all the deceased, injured and missing are said to have been the workers at the under-construction Upper Dordi ‘A’ Hydropower Project. As per the information shared by Project operator Rajendra Wasti, one person has come to the contact of the project.
