Minister Gyawali says hasty generalization creeping in society

Kathmandu, August 24: Minister for Foreign Affairs, Pradip Gyawali, has expressed worry over the hasty generalization creeping in society.

Addressing a programme organized by the Hope Foundation to honor the noted expert on culture, Satya Mohan Joshi, in Kathmandu today, Minister Gyawali, said the society is the mixture of both regression and progression, but some media and intellectual are getting swayed by ignoring the good works and propelling generalizations.

Stating the problems entrenched in society cannot be removed in a day or two, the minister said positive signs have emerged for country’s change. He further said the battle against irregularities has begun in the country.

On the occasion, Minister Gyawali appreciated the role of centenary figure Satya Mohan Joshi to make Karnali known to many who contributed to bringing forth the diverse cultures of Nepali society.
