Nepal-Bangladesh joint secretary level meeting concludes in Kathmandu

Kathmandu, Oct. 24: The joint secretary-level technical committee meeting between Nepal and Bangladesh concluded in Kathmandu yesterday, forging an agreement on five various topics of mutual help.

In the meeting, an agreement was reached on coordinating with the agriculture department, food technology, and quality control department and salt trading for easy access of agriculture productions in both the counties. Likewise, a discussion was also held on exporting Nepali thread to Bangaladesh, Nepal’s reach in Bangaladesh waterways, trade, and transit among others.

The agreement will be submitted in the secretary-level meeting of both the countries for approval.
