Former President Dr Yadav stresses on Chure conservation

Janakpurdham, Nov.9: Former President Dr Ram Baran Yadav has cautioned about Chure destruction saying the destruction of Chure has led to food scarcity in the country.

Addressing a programme A Concern for Chure organized at Janakpurdharm today, former President Dr Yadav expressed his worry that with the destruction of Chure the fertile land of terai Mahesh is turning into barren land.

Also speaking on the occasion, Nepal Communist Party senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal said there is a need for adopting immediate and long term strategies for the conservation of the Chure region.
