NHRC Nepal and HRC Malaysia agree to extend cooperation to protect rights of migrant workers

Kathmandu, Nov 14:  National Human Rights Commission of Nepal and Human Right Commission of Malaysia have agreed to extend cooperation to protect the rights of migrant workers.

Organizing a press meet in Kathmandu today, the National Human Rights Commission said the two human righst organizations have agreed to form a joint mechanism for securing the rights of the migrant workers in line with human right standard across the world.

Speaking on the occasion, National Human Right Commission Chief Commissioner Anupraj Sharma said with the implementation of the agreement the migrant workers will be able to have legal assistance through the commission.
