Kathmandu, Dec 4: The Secretariat Meeting of the ruling Nepal Communist Party has directed the subordinate committees to send a review report on the by-election held on November 30.
The Secretariat meeting held today at the Party’s Central Office at Dhumrabarahi chaired by chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ directed the party committees from the ward level to the district level to make a review of the by-elections and send reports on the same.
Party spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha said the next meeting of the Secretariat scheduled for December 9 will make a systematic assessment of the by-elections.
He further added the upcoming secretariat meeting will discuss on the remaining works related to the organization and the meeting of the Standing Committee and the Central Committee, among others.
Today’s meeting has also passed a proposal wishing for speedy recovery of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli who is recuperating at the Manmohan Cardiothoracic and Vascular Transplant Center at Maharajgunj in Kathmandu after undergoing surgery for appendicitis.
Meanwhile, the meeting decided to have further consultation with doctors in regard with kidney transplant of PM KP Sharma Oli after the PM gets full recovery from the current treatment.
