Ruling Nepal Communist Party Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and main opposition party, Nepali Congress, President Sher Bahadur Deuba have held consultations on completing the remaining works of the peace process.
Chair Dahal and general secretary Bishnu Prasad Poudel reached Deuba’s residence at Budhanilkantha today for the consultations. During the meeting, the leaders discussed the formation of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and the Commission of Inquiry on Enforced Disappeared Persons.
Chair Dahal and Nepali Congress President Deuba talked about giving complete shape to the commissions at the earliest possible. Chair Dahal’s Press Coordinator, Bishnu Sapkota, said the two party chiefs exchanged views on contemporary political issues as well.
