PM Oli, NCP chair Dahal and NC president Deuba agree to move ahead on consensus

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, ruling Communist Party (NCP) chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Nepali Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba have held discussions in relation to the contemporary political situation in the country.

Deputy leader of the communist party  parliamentary party Subas Nembang said in the consultations held yesterday at the Prime Minister’s residence at Baluwatar, the three leaders agreed to move ahead on the basis of common consensus and collaboration while running the affairs of the nation.

Leader Nembang said the Prime Minister held the meeting with the main opposition party leader, Deuba, as an effort for seeking consensus on state affairs. Nembang also said the leaders had agreed to carry out works from running the parliament to making political appointments on the basis of consensus.

Meanwhile, The meeting of the House of Representative is scheduled to be held at 3 P.M today.  The parliament secretariat has informed that today’s parliament meeting would elect the house speaker. Since Agni Sapkota of the communist party is the only candidate vying the election, he is certain to be elected as the speaker of House of Representative of the Federal parliament .
